ESGF (Earth System Grid Federation) code sprint

NSC is pleased to be hosting a 'code sprint' for ESGF developers from the 28th September to the 2nd of October 2015.

The Earth System Grid Federation is a collaboration of groups, agencies and institutions around the world, that are dedicated to the development and operation of a long-term system for the management, access and analysis of climate data. It is recognized as the leading infrastructure for the management and access of large distributed data volumes for climate change research. NSC operates one of the data nodes in the ESG federation on behalf of SMHI.

The NSC code sprint will bring together experts from Europe for a week of focused development of the ESGF software, with the aim to further improve the services and infrastructure available through ESGF.
