Getting to Linköping

By Car

To get to Linköping university Campus Valla, exit the E4 at "Linköping V" and follow directions to "Universitetet" (see map in PDF format).

By Train

Direct connections with Stockholm, Arlanda, Malmö, Copenhagen and Copenhagen Airport. (Stockholm - Linköping, 200 km, approx. 1 h 45 min.). SJ travel search and reservations

By Air

Linköping City Airport has flights to and from: Amsterdam (KLM), Stockholm Arlanda (Skyways) and Visby (Direktflyg). See flights to Linköping and flights from Linköping.

An alternative is Norrköping Airport and then taxi shuttle (book in advance!) or taxi. The airport has flights (operated by Cimber Air) to and from: Copenhagen, Munich and Helsinki.

Tickets: "SMS tickets" bought using your mobile phone is the cheapest alternative. Send "LV" to number "72 365" a few minutes before you board the bus. You will have to show the driver the reply you get. Unfortunately, this works only with Swedish mobile operators. More information here.
