Abstract

We study how environmental pollutants affect animal behavior, fish in particular. We used animal tracking technologies to study movement behavior in fish in natural environments. The telemetry methods that we use are high-resolution meaning we can get positional data every couple of seconds. These high throughput methods generate large data sets that require great computational power to be analyzed for example when running demanding statistical modeling.
