Abstract

From basic science to translation, modern biomedical research demands computational models which integrate several interacting physical systems. Through collaboration with international partners, the developed software CHeart - a finite-element code for biomedical research - is in place for advanced multiphysics simulations. In this project, we seek to explore the use of Cheart through multiple cardiovascular domains, modelling both fluid and structural response across the heart, aorta, and brain.
