Abstract

The V2G technology involves bringing available energy from the electric cars into smart grids. Benefits include facilitating ancillary services, reducing costs and environmental concerns. Network expansion is expensive, hence, a more effective use of existing resources will be the focus of the current research. In particular, the research project Dansmästaren will contribute with modelling and experiments to ongoing research in the field of electromobility. Dansmästaren, also called Mobility House, is a test bed where different Distributed Energy Resources are implemented within a nano-grid, and it is a unique research opportunity for contributing to more sustainable cities.
