Prerequisites
  
  Ability to program in Fortran or C
  User-level knowledge of UNIX
  Basic knowledge of parallel programming concepts

Contents

  Introduction to general message passing concepts. Description of the API 
  (Application Programming Interface) in PVM and MPI. The main part of this
  course is held with no specific architecture in mind. It is
  applicable on cluster of workstations, as well as Cray C90 and T3E.
