Information about utilized computer time in the CRAY C90 or T3E is collected at midnight and stored in a database. For each week a copy is stored, thus enabling weekly statistics to be obtained.
With the UNICOS command /usr/local/bin/project the Cray user can obtain information on his (her) utilized computer time and that of the whole project. Members of a certain project can also obtain information about the other project members. Some users, including the staff at NSC and Combitech Network, can naturally get access to other projects.
The data base is updated at midnight and includes all jobs which have been terminated during the last 24 hours. The output, which is in easy Swedish, therefore refers to the situation at midnight.
The command is identical on the C90 and the T3E, the output refers to the specific machine.
Form of the UNICOS command:
/usr/local/bin/project brief full user='*' from=fyww week=yyww l=list
None of the parameters is compulsory.
brief A short output is requested, containing allotted and used
time for the whole project and your own utilized time.
full A detailed output will be obtained.
user='*' Output of all users of the project.
from=fyww The parameter "from=" indicates that the output will
include utilized time from the indicated week either up until
the latest date or up until and including the week given
with the parameter "week=", for example "week=9804" for the
fourth week of 1998.
week=yyww If the parameter "week=" is omitted the output will be
for the latest date. If the week is given the status
at the end of that week, for example "week=9705" means
the status at the end of the fifth week of 1997.
l=list The output will be sent to the file list. If omitted
the output will be sent to stdout.
